On June 1st Tallinn witnessed the results of the second stage of BIGBANK Gold League summer session, where Estonian, Latvian and Lithuaian athletes were taking part in over 20 different competitions.
This time Lithuanian sportsmen did not achieve high results, and the prize-winning places went to the athletes from other countries. According to Latvian sportsman Stanislavs Olijars, Gold League series is always surrounded by friendly atmosphere, where sporstmen feel welcome.

BIGBANK Gold League is an athletics championship, which today is the most reputable and biggest-scale athletics series in the Baltic States. BIGBANK Gold League dates back to the year 2006, when three competition stages took place during the first winter session. BIGBANK Gold League summer stage consists of five stages, where sportsmen compete for the main prize. This championship is attended by the most famous Estonian athletes as well as sportsmen from Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Poland, Russia and other countries.
