On the 24th of January in Lasnamäe (Estonia) the first stage of BIGBANK „Gold league"winter season took place. Athletes from Lithuania appeared in 200 and 800 meter runs, Vitalij Kozlov in his run was the first one to finish.

Vitalij Kozlov broke the 800 meter run in 1 min. 52,57 sec. and won the first place. The same distance for Mindaugas Norbutas took 1 min. 55,51 sec. to finish, the sportsman got the third place.

"I am positive about today's results, however honestly speaking I am willing to achieve 1 min. 48,50 sec. result and improve Lithuanian record. Hopefully I will manage to succeed in championship in Austria", - said Vitalij Kozlov.
In women's 800 meter run Aurika Balsytė and Karolina Mockaitytė finished respectively in 2 min. 22,18 sec. and 2 min. 23,07 sec. and won the fifth and sixth places.

Another BIGBANK Gold League winter season round will be held on the 9th of February.
