During the third quarter BIGBANK‘s loan portfolio also grows

According to unaudited financial results of the third quarter of the year, BIGBANK AS Lithuanian branch's loan portfolio at the end of the quarter reached 64,1 mln. Lt, i.e. from the beginning of the year it grew by 12,7 %.

Bank's total assets at the end of the third quarter of 2011 amounted to 69,7 mln. Lt. Interest income was 13,5 mln. Lt, i.e. 2,.3% more than in the third quarter of 2010, when it was 13,2 mln. Lt. Other income after nine months of this year reached 1,2 mln. Lt. After the third quarter of the year the bank incurred 221 thousand loss.

According to the head of BIGBANK AS Lithuanian branch Rolandas Norvilas, the third quarter maintained a positive tendencies and bank's expectations were satisfied. "Over the past quarter we had been developing the network of our partners for providing consumer credits and UNO consumer lease. Moreover, a lot of attention was paid to the quality of the new services. Steadily growing loan portfolio is an indicator that allows to assess the results positively, - said Rolandas Norvilas.
